Every year the members of Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) come together for a three-day Auto Torts Seminar, typically held in July, to discuss issues relating to the practice of accident and injury law, new and emerging legal issues, and how to better serve our clients and handle insurance companies.
This year, I've been asked to present to the group which is not only an exciting opportunity, but an honor. I'll be speaking on the topic of aggravated liability and the fairly large wave of serious injury cases I've had which include egregious and aggravated behavior of defendants, how the insurance companies are fighting these claims, and strategies I've developed to get my clients justice more quickly.
The combined knowledge of all the lawyers make this a valuable seminar. There are always new issues and strategies to learn to become an even better advocate for clients. The insurance companies are adapting to the ever-changing economic landscape in attempt to benefit their bottom line, and personal injury attorneys must also adapt to fight for their injured clients.
